The core barrel is fully extendable. Several core tubes can be connected together to extend the barrel to the required length. For drilling through difficult overburden, a full range of metric casing tubes are available to prevent the borehole from caving in.

The core bit is not supplied with the barrel assembly, but should be ordered separately. Tungsten carbide and diamond core bits are available to suit all drilling applications.
